The theme of the last week’s overview was the overall increase in the volume of decentralized applications (dApps) and the rise in the trading volume of decentralized exchanges.

Today, daily volume of all Ethereum, EOS and TRON dApps in total is $54,169,832, which was $35,925,287 in the last overview that we published on February 26. The volume was $16,726,317 on February 9, which is 70% lower than the current daily volume. There seems to have been a steady as well as rapid increase in the daily volume of dApps for a month, based on these statistics.

The most used blockchain games and decentralized exchanges in the ecosystem based on active users over the last 7 days are as follows:

The most used Ethereum, EOS and TRON games over the last 7 days

Ethereum based blockchain games

  1. My Crypto Heroes  (volume 7d: $131.8k)
  2. HyperDragons (volume 7d: $17.9k)
  3. 0xUniverse (volume 7d: $30.5k)

EOS based blockchain games

  1. EOS Knights (volume 7d: $27k)
  2. Token Planet (volume 7d: not available)
  3. Nakamoto.run (volume 7d: $1.5k)

TRON based blockchain games

  1. TRONLegend (volume 7d: $26.9k)
  2. TronGoo (volume 7d: $37.2k)
  3. Epic Dragons (volume 7d: $89.9k)

The most used Ethereum, EOS and TRON based decentralized exchanges (DEXs) over the last 7 days

Ethereum based decentralized exchanges

  1. IDEX (volume 7d: $3.5M)
  2. ForkDelta (volume 7d: $1.5M)
  3. Kyber (volume 7d: $1.1M)

EOS based decentralized exchanges

  1. Newdex (volume 7d: $6.6M)
  2. WhaleEx (volume 7d: $380.4k)
  3. Akdex (volume 7d: $122k)

TRON based decentralized exchanges

  1. TRX Market (volume 7d: $4M)
  2. TronTrade (volume 7d: $6.9M)
  3. TRON JOYSO (volume 7d: $421.2k)

Trading volume of decentralized exchanges

IDEX, an Ethereum based decentralized exchange with the highest trading volume, was number one Ethereum dApp with a daily volume of $585.8k last week. Today, it ranks second with a daily volume of $487.6k. There is no any other decentralized exchange in top 5 by volume except Kyber which enables instant transactions with its on-chain liquidity protocol.

Comparing today’s statistics on Ethereum based decentralized exchanges with the one that we published on March 2. It seems the rise in the total daily volume of dApps is powered rather by EOS and TRON based dApps of different categories including DEXs.

There is a daily 163.63% increase in the volume of TRON based DEX, TRX Market. Most EOS and TRON based dApps have also seen such increase in their daily transaction volumes.

The dApp ecosystem continues to grow with huge transaction volumes mainly coming from dApps on the EOS and TRON blockchains. Let’s see what happens next week in this rapidly growing market. Please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below and follow Dappgrid on Twitter and Facebook.
